Like many great ideas, Clean Play began with a question that mattered deeply.

Founder Joe Fida has always believed pets are family. Watching animals live so closely with the surfaces around them—sleeping on bedding, chewing toys, grooming themselves—he grew increasingly uneasy with the products being used to “protect” them.

Strong chemical smells. Warning labels. Instructions that felt incompatible with curious noses and sensitive bodies.

Joe asked a simple question:
Why are we using products around pets that we wouldn’t feel comfortable using around children?
That question became the foundation of Clean Play — and led to the creation of the SaniChest.
